You will receive the files in PDF format so you shouldn’t have any problems printing out. If you have any issues, just contact us and we will help where we can. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader and most tablets and computers have this installed as standard. If you don’t have this you can download free at www.adobe.com.
We have lots of games available for a variety of guest ratio but not every one is ou the website yet. If you don't see the number of guests you need in a particular game, let us know as we may have it and can add to the website for you to purchase.
We can also write a game just for you and your guests. Email us at sales@littlemurdermysteryshop for more details.
This depends on the number of guests you have, but for 8-12 guests it typically takes about 30 minutes per round (usually 3 rounds to a game). Our games work well around a three course meal because they are based on 3 rounds but you can have a takeaway, a buffet or just have drinks and nibbles. It is sometimes difficult to cater for larger numbers so it really is up to you how you plan your party.
No, the costume suggestions are just that - a suggestion to help your guest bring their character to life and get into the spirit of the game or to set the scene. You can wear full fancy dress, wear just an accessory such as a hat or just wear everyday clothes – it's up to you ...
All download games sales are classed as a digital service and as such are final . You forfeit the right to cancel within 14 days when you purchsse a digital download so we do not offer a refund if you change your mind.
Papers and Cards
To print the game to the best standard we recommend the items below but this is not imperative as can be printed onto standard copier paper at 80gsm.
We recommend printing on the 'normal' print setting - however on some printers 'draft' is sufficient and will be as good print quality - and also save on your ink cartridge. You can also print the game out in full colour or mono depending on your printer quality. Printing in mono does save on cartridge costs.
Character Guides & Planner We recommend back to back printing of the character guides and planner so that it reads like a book. The pages are numbered in order for you to collate the pages correctly. We recommend 100 g paper for this.
Statements & Clues We recommend back to back printing of the clues and statements and that they are sealed with a sticker prior to play. We recommend 100 g paper for this. The clues should be placed on the table before your guests arrive.
Place Names & Newspaper We recommend that the place names and newspaper are printed on 160 g card. When you have printed the place names carefully cut from the sheet along the black lines and fold along the fold line.
We recommend that you print the name stickers on Avery Address Labels J8160. The margins are set for the labels - you just need to print and stick on your guests!
We have provided fold lines at the side of the guides, invitations, clues and statements to show you where the folds should be made and if you line the fold lines up it will ensure a straight fold.
